Bay City Rollers Reincarnate

Ever since the Band Perry came on the scene last year, I've not been able to look at Kimberly's brothers without thinking of the band I was enamored with in Junior High, the Bay City Rollers. And because I have not been able to get their song, "When I Die Young" (which was tremendously overplayed just as that Lady Antebellum song was, you know what one I'm referring to) out of my head, I thought I'd treat you to it. I'm going to include a Bay City Rollers performance from back in the day.
Enjoy! <evil grin>

And here's the equally as annoying (now) "Saturday Night" 1975.

If you look carefully, you'll see what I mean about resemblance.
Except for the fact that one group is five members and the
other is three, of course!

They both keep the shaggy blonde in the center.
The boys in both bands have the same hair style.
The fashion sense (or lack thereof) is similar.
Both band names start with the Letter B. (Ha!)

I had to include this picture of the Rollers just because I found the platform shoes and ESPECIALLY the BABY BLUE platform boots MOST disturbing! How in the world I ever swooned over this bunch, I JUST DON'T KNOW. I hope this is one fashion trend that stays in the past!
